“Now godliness with contentment is great gain.”
1 Timothy 6:6 KJV

One of the hidden treasures of the Quiet Life is being content… Not with money, positions, or status in life… but rather in being… GODLY.

In the message we are going to dive deep into that. My hope is that you truly find the greatest treasure of life: Contentment

Prior to you jumping into the message, let me breakdown some words for you:

Godliness in the Greek is eusebeia (yoo-seb’-I’ah) meaning “piety (the quality of being religious or reverent.); especially the gospel scheme (a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining some particular object or putting a particular idea into effect.).”

Contentment is autarkeia (ow-tar’-ki-ah) meaning “self-satisfaction, i.e. (abstractly) contentedness or (concretely) a competence.”

Great is megas (meg-as) meaning “big in a very wide application. Now gain porismos (por-is-mos’) means “(a way, i.e. means); furnishings (procuring), i.e. (by implication money-getting (acquisition). “
